Values Education

 

I have been striving to incorporate Values Education into conventional teaching.

In the picture we see a teachers training session on Values Education and its incorporation into subject teaching in progress.

The participants were govt school teachers of students studying in grades I to X.

This interactive training session was organised by YFS, Hyderabad Chapter.

Teachers did participate with lot of focus and learnt the session inputs through active participation.

If teachers engage themselves in learning and implementing new pedagogic practices, students not only improve academically but will be grateful to teachers for giving newer opportunities.

Rapid Learning Technique

 

Conducting a session for govt school kids studying in grade VI. The session is about a 'Rapid Learning Technique', that speeds up student's memory and retention of what is learnt. 

Students not only participated with enthusiasm, but demonstrated their ability to learn quickly what is taught, with ease. 

This interactive session was part of my visit, that was arranged by YFS, Hyd chapter.

Will an early beginning of interactions with children, help a professional ?

Of course!!

I have been blessed indeed!!!

My life is a classical   example and an answer to the above question. 

Understanding children by interacting, helping, teaching  as well learning  from them and  growing  with them happened as a journey,  in different capacities and  at different stages of my life. 

Being a female sibling, as part of my grooming my family, especially my mother, “thanks to her”, I was asked to take care  and co-parent my younger siblings, at an early age. 

My daily interactions with my siblings helped me become aware of both my strengths and weaknesses, build child-nurturing  habits, use them to satisfy siblings’ needs  and aid their developmental process, that which continued as part of my growing and life.
